Zebra Uno is proud to continue sponsoring their local Deaf football team, Black Country Deaf Football Club (BCDFC) for a further 2 years.

Sponsor - Zebra Uno

The BCDFC was set up in 1993 by founders Steve Richardson, Trevor Dolby and Gregory Joseph to give participants an opportunity to learn to play football and enjoy the game without communication barriers, keep themselves fit and to compete in Deaf and mainstream competitions.

Zebra Uno’s sponsorship allows the club to buy new strip and supports the club’s administration, which enables the BCDFC to compete in Division 5 of the Wolverhampton Sunday League, the British Deaf Cup and the English Deaf Cup. They also participate in any other Deaf tournaments across the country throughout the year as well having weekly training sessions at Coseley Leisure Centre.

BCDFC manager, Neil Wilkins said ‘BCDFC is in-debt to Zebra Uno for providing us with new kit and admin support. I would like this opportunity to express our appreciation and gratitude for without this sponsorship and support, BCDFC would have struggled to continue to offer young Deaf people opportunities to play football and keep fit without being isolated due to communication barriers.’
