The BBC and See Hear held an event from 4th – 6th November in Bristol, to celebrate sign language and the Deaf community in relation to film and television, whilst at the same time also celebrating See Hear‘s 35th Birthday!
Having been a TV BSL in-vision interpreter for the BBC and being a fan of the See Hear programme, Director Nikki Stratton joined the celebrations and got involved in the activities over the weekend.
See Hear’s birthday celebrations also featured earlier this year at Deaffest 2016, where Series Producer William Mager talked about the history of See Hear and the hard work that went into producing the monthly programmes.
The team would like to congratulate the BBC and the See Hear team on their anniversary – long may it continue!
