Zebra Uno is delighted to have been nominated in all three different categories; Best UK Deaf Business 2014, Award for Outstanding Development and Award for Outstanding Contribution!
Deaf Business Academy (DBA) is a brand new business that has recreated traditional business learning into the language of Deaf people, British Sign Language. The purpose of DBA is to bring together Deaf entrepreneurs, business interpreters and mainstream businesses to share experiences, source solutions and develop wider business networks both in the UK and abroad.
DBA is going to present awards to 3 top UK Deaf Businesses and aims to celebrate the best, most innovative, creative and successful entrepreneurial businesses in the UK.
The nominations will be judged by the CEO of the Royal Association for Deaf People, Jan Sheldon, CEO of the British Deaf Association, David Buxton, and TV Presenter, Radha Manjeshwar.
The winners will be announced at an upcoming event “You are not JUST a Deaf business” to be held at the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday 2nd July 2014.
