Zebra Uno at BSLBT Academy: Talent Acceleration

The British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust (BSLBT) invited Zebra Uno’s Co-Director, Nikki Stratton, to be one of the guest speakers at their exciting new BSLBT Academy: Talent Acceleration training events in early November 2024.

The training sessions, held at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, provided participants with the chance to learn from various guest speakers in the industry.

During her session, Nikki shared insights from Zebra Uno’s previous groundbreaking initiatives, such as the Young Deaf Filmmakers Scheme and The Ben Steiner Bursary. (Catch these remarkable films on the Deaffest Online Cinema here!)

“It was an absolute privilege to be part of such a transformative experience,” Nikki shared. “Witnessing the vibrant aspirations of Deaf media students and sharing Zebra Uno’s journey was incredibly rewarding.
