Earthly Wellbeing Festival 2025

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the Earthly Wellbeing Festival (EWF) 2025 a truly unforgettable celebration of community, sustainability and self-care.

From yoga to wild swimming, crystal healing to creative arts, this year’s festival offered a rich blend of workshops and experiences. Each one encouraged people to nurture themselves and the planet. Meanwhile, the serene natural setting brought people together to reconnect with nature and themselves.

Zebra Uno’s Role

While Zebra Uno’s core services focus on media, translation and training, EWF gave us an opportunity to put our accessibility expertise into practice. The festival also allowed us to create a community-focused event with inclusion at its heart.

Zebra Uno led the festival with a clear focus on inclusion. We wanted Deaf people to participate, connect and enjoy the programme alongside other festival-goers.

As part of this approach, Zebra Uno designed the festival to be Deaf-friendly. We made workshops and activities more inclusive for Deaf participants. In addition, Deaf-led workshops and a BSL-interpreted session formed an important part of the programme.

Leading an Accessible Festival

Zebra Uno Co-Director Marilyn Willrich led the festival. She brought her experience, passion and commitment to wellbeing and accessibility to the event. Her leadership helped create a welcoming space centred on connection, creativity and conscious living.

For Zebra Uno, EWF demonstrated how our accessibility expertise can extend beyond our core services. It also showed the value of creating inclusive opportunities where everyone can take part.

In addition, the festival highlighted how accessible events can bring people together, create meaningful connections and encourage everyone to explore wellbeing, nature and creativity in an inspiring, welcoming environment.
