Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for those who are planning to progress to NVQ level 3 or equivalent courses in BSL and wish to have extra or further training in sign language before enrolling onto the course. Zebra Uno will ensure that all students will reach and attain the standards of level 3 in BSL in both productive and receptive skills.
Courses will take place in Wolverhampton, we can provide quotes for both residents and non-residents’ candidates, please contact us for further information.
All tutors on this course are Deaf Native BSL users and are qualified and experienced to deliver this course.
No voice-over interpreters will be available during the course.

Contents
We will be focussing on introducing BSL lexicons and phrases. Discussion of BSL grammar will be highlighted to ensure all students understand the structure of BSL, which in turn enhances skills in both productive and receptive BSL skills. Some aspects of the syntax and grammar of British Sign Language, i.e. Classifiers, Non-manual features etc will be delivered as part of the candidates’ learning outcome.
Group discussion and role-plays will also take place within the sessions to encourage candidates to participate using BSL as fluently as possible.

Minimum of CACDP NVQ level 2/Stage 2 in BSL or equivalent (compulsory)
