TV BSL Interpreting In-vision
Zebra uno launched their first TV BSL Interpreting In-vision workshops for Deaf people funded by Screen West Midlands and proved to be a great hit!

Deaf students from all over the UK attended the workshops and were pleasantly surprised at the level and depth of the course that included learning new skills as BSL In-vision Interpreters, being able to present the programmes into British Sign Language relying upon autocues. They were motivated at the challenges of translating English scripts into BSL and were stunned by the professional studio set up.

The feedback given;

“All I can say it has been a fantastic learning curve for me, and enjoyed the workshops very much.”

“I’ve benefited lots from this workshop and I’m hoping to learn more about linguistics in BSL”

“Workshops were fantastically great and would like to have more training like this in the future and I definitely recommend this workshop, as the lecturers were great!”

“This was very interesting to learn especially how to prepare myself from the start to the end.”

The workshops would not have not been possible without the excellent working relationship with AC2.COM Productions Ltd, who provided the technical support for the filming, editing and studio set up. Also Quality hotel were superb. Zebra Uno will be having more workshops in the future. Please look out for future dates at this website.
