Zebra Uno Ltd
Marilyn Bueno Del Carpio & Nikki Stratton
The directors, Nikki Stratton and Marilyn Bueno Del Carpio founded Zebra Uno Ltd in 2003 because they recognised that businesses and public bodies need expert advice and technical services to offer equal access for Deaf people.
1 in 7 of the UK population has a significant hearing loss and of these 250,000 use BSL. The government has recognised BSL as an Official Language and acknowledged that Deaf people need access to all areas of life through BSL. The Disability Discrimination Act requires businesses and other organisations to provide access for Deaf people.
